Whirring Noise from Manual Transmission
Hi all,
Does anyone have an idea of what the sound in the video link is? The sound that you are hearing is when the clutch is engaged (pedal is not being pressed).
When I was given the description of the problem over the phone, I was leaning towards shaft bearings... but after listening to the video I am not sure. It doesn't seem to sound as rough as what I have heard from input shaft bearings.

Thanks!

If it goes away when you press the clutch normally its the input shaft bearings normally the inboard but i like to change the outboard too.
