where do you read the codes for ATTS?
Today my check engine light and ATTS light popped on at the same time. I took it to Advance Auto Parts to have the code read. The only thing that showed up was a P0133 Which is the O2 sensor in the header had a slow response. We then erased that code and when i restarted the car neither the check engine light, nor the ATTS light came back on. Is there another way to see why the ATTS light came on for just a "slow circuit" response from a O2 sensor.
i had the same problem once. both light appeared about the same time. it turned out to be my gas cap. some how it became loose. all i did was twisted the cap back on and reseted the ecu and the light never came back on.
well, my o2 sensor died, and my CEL and ATTS light came on, i went back to the dealer and they change it for me.... once they changed,.... both lights came off....
HMMMM, this is really interesting. As sophisticated and annoying as OBD2 is i would figure that it would be able to select the proper light when something screws itself. Anyone know why they (the honda builders) selected that both lights should come on when something messes up(other than to freak the driver out and think their car is totally screwed and take it to the dealer
immediately)
? And just for comfort can any of you HT gods tell me for sure that this is normal and that my ATTS is okay because we didnt find any codes for it, and if that ATTS light always comes on with the CEL?

Simplified, i am asking if ATTS is built into the OBD system, or does it have its own place to read error codes from. Just confuses me that its light came on and then it didnt have any codes stored on the ECU. I just figured that its always a possibilty that they seperated it or integrated it?
Whenever the check engine light comes on, the ATTS light always comes on as well. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with the ATTS or that the ATTS system has any codes to show you. The ECU simply turns off the ATTS when there is anything wrong with the engine in order to make sure nothing does go wrong with the ATTS system.
Fix your O2 sensor problem, reset the ECU and the ATTS light will go away.

do the same trick you do to pull the ECU codes (atleast on a 5th gen) That CEL trick works to also do the ABS.. don't know about the ATTS though. My ABS and CEL were on (CEL == 2ndary O2, who cares? ABS = unit or main relay bad... it's snowy out and I hate ABS for snow so who cares?) Anyhow, I jumped the two wire plug and the ABS lgiht flashed just like the CEL would
