Hi honda fans. i recently bought honda prelude 5th gen.
His last owner swaped engine, but only block&head without intake,ekzost & etc
So i dont know what modification it is.
The head is red top. But i have doubts on it, is it just paint or realy red top?
Head marked p13-hf1
& block marked H-22 without any letters.

So second question what ebu i need to buy for this?

It is not a redtop. If it were the head would be stamped pde.

Can you take a picture of the cylinder head tiem clocks and the engine code on the block? Also a picture of the transmission code which is jsu tot eh left of the engine block stamp.

then one can be certain of what it is, but form what you have said osunds to me like its a 93-95 jdm h22a.

Looks to be a 96, but i cnat see the time clock evry well, can youpost better pictures and maybe wipe the tiem clocks off so they are more visible?

 

Sry whats time clock? Is it number on block or circles on head?

 

yes there will be three circles on your head, they wil dictate the year, the day and the plant that you head was made.

then this combined wihtthe h22a engien code and the p13 stamp on your head will dictatte what yeara nd model the car came form, you cana also post your vin of the car that the engien came from and use that too
