I Have a 1999 Honda Prelude SH..
My Engine Blew.. And I gotta replace It..
It Was An H22A4.. What Engine Can/ Should I Get That Would Just Go Right In. WITHOUT Modification.
Also.. Is H22, H22a, And H22A4 All The Same Engine?

 

Try the 2JZ- engines, should fit. Engines are engines, they're all the same.

 

Would A H22 Work?

 

There is no such thing as H22, there is H22a1, H22a4, H22a -jdm, and maybe other H22a-based engines from Europe and Japan. Replace it with an H22a4 and call it a day.

 

Are you replacing the head, the block, or both? If you're replacing anything more than the head, make sure you use an SH block.

 

How Will I Know Which Is An SH Block?

 

There Are Several Pictures Floating Around This Forum That Point Out The Differences Between The Two Blocks. Now Quit Typing Like This.
