Buy a transmisison with lsd or buy an lsd and install it. Best Bang for buck mod out there. If you can find one, try get a T2W4 transmission, short gearing on 1-3 and it has factory equipped lsd.

I agree with Bouckaroo get an lsd trans they are a damn good investment, but if your looking for more power put tri-y headers, an aftermarket intake manifold like the euro-r one from Rosko's Racing and get a tune on a chipped ecu and you should make some nice gains.

You might be able to touch a T2T4 trans for that much, i doubt you can find a T2W4 on that budget.

Intake mani, header, and exhaust with a tune should keep you busy for awhile.

He wants more power. A LSD tranny isnt going to do that. For 1k, id rebuild the head with skunk2.

or you can do an intake manifold and exhaust manifold upgrade

Gear reduction doesnt make more power, it makes more use of the power you already have.

If it was me I would get a good catback exhaust skunk2,greddy,vibrant, ect. And a high tech replica header with Aem v2 intake. The mods will complement your
H22 you won't be disappointed.

I would deff look into Rosko Racing Euro-R intake, he makes it bolt right up to USDM heads and you can see gains upwards of 20hp without tuning

More power out of an H22 cost more than his budget, as a good tuning solution is what his budget is. The exhaust work, intake manifold and what not is a useless addition if there is no way to tune the engien for best efficiency.

The lsd, allows the car to put more power to the ground, thogh you are not increasing the power level, you are increasing the output of the car when on the raod. As well as incereasing the driveability of it as the car will now handle better in corners.

To say build a skunk2 head, without having the rest of the enginemodification support that is ridiculous. The head work has to be comboined with better flwoign intake and exhaust for it to make any difference, and on top of it all it all has to be tuned to run together.

If, you are going to get exhaust, I would highly recomend not using an OTS one and building h a custim 3" with as little restriction as you can. An engien can only make power with what it can flow air wise. The engine can only flow in what it can flow out, so even if you have a "built" intake (ie CAI, larger throttle body, intake mani{skunk2 or rsoko or GE or whetever}), none of that will matter if the exhuast cannot purge that air. If youre exhuast is not matching what the intake flow is, you are bottle necking it and losing power.

Best bang for buck mod with h22 is lsd. Straight up. With such small budget that is your best option. then in the future when you have mroe moeny, and can further mod, you wont have to worry abotu the "one wheel peel" lmao.

No power increases with that budget.

You need much more than that.
