Im a bit confused and torn on the whole header issue. That new concept header that was on here is nice, but its a 1000 bucks, plus I cant really cut my exhaust. So what header should I get then, Im going to so head work soon, along with stages 2 cams(skunk 2). Please put in input. I want one that makes the most power, Greddy?

 

Just get a DC sports Ceramic coated, or Greddy.

I'm guessing you have an H22...I'd go with GReddy.

DC Sport is good for H23s....Greddy is better for H22s

 

Are the Greddy headers legal? Will I pass smog with them on, It passes right now with intake and exhaust would the headers change that?

 

smsp or hytech... mugen if you want pimpness.

 

Also one more thing. There is no one header that will "make the most power."

They all have high points and low points. One of those above might make the most PEAK HP on the dyno, but at somewhere across the RPM band another header might make more power in a more usable way to YOU.

What do you want the power to be? 5,000-9,000? 1,000-6,000? Do some research on what you do with your car. Daily driver? Racing on the street sometimes? Hard core track fiend?

Either way, I still stick with my top three choices.

 

never heard of hytech, where do I look into that at. Do you know how much the cat is moved back on the SMSP header, and if the price will ever come down?

 

why don't you hit up the smsp thread about his header and ask him directly.
