Re: What EMS to use to keep ATTS? (ildknyli)
There is a company called http://www.efisystems.com that used to sell a piggyback that can be used as a standalone and it would work with ATTS. I don't see it listed on their website no more though. This thread has some info about it http://www.wvinter.net/~flanha....html. Here is a picture of it
I have the computer, harness, and 3 bar map if you want to buy it. I don't know if you can find the software or that controller (calculator looking thing). I've never used it and don't know if and how it works.
Do a search on EFI PMS in the archives. I'll sell mine for $20 with no guarantee's.

I would suggest against the EFI PMS. I own it, and it works very well. The problem is that EFI no longer makes the Honda unit, they no longer support the Honda unit, and the software for the unit (which gives it its true potential) is no longer available. If you really wanted one, you would have to find one that is used, and if you want the software you would have to find someone that is selling a used unit along WITH the software. You cannot use a copy of the software with a unit the software was not originally installed with.
With that said, if you can find it used and being sold along with the software, it's a great unit. I custom rigged it so I can control vtec. I've even used the software to build my own ignition map for VTEC so that I don't have to piggyback the factory ecu's ignition map.
Look into the Greddy E-manage Ultimate and using a wideband O2 setup with it.

With that being said (and also an owner of the EFI PMS) I cried when I found this for sale...

I would have bought that in a heart beat if I didn't already have it. Unless someone wants to trade so I can buy that unit! Mine is P&P ready to go if anyone wants a P&P unit and I'll take that one!

Wait Doug, that's what I have. What, besides the software, are you missing???
EDIT: OHHH, he's selling the software too.
Doug, if you get your hands on working software I can show you how to utilize the standalone feature and build your own ignition map Maybe you should buy that one and then sell the one you have. Sad that he cut the harness up, though.

I would actually feel more comfortable with a company that still does it.
What else is still out there?

Help me find the software then! I don't want to buy another EFI PMS esp since there isn't a huge demand on them right now (that one has been for sale at that price for... like half a year) so I don't want to be stuck w/ two of them.

I could swear I had originally copied the disks to a CD BEFORE installing them, thinking I could install from the CD. I'm going to have to go through all of my old burned disks to see if I have them.
Have you tried contacting the writer of the software to see if he will sell you a copy of the software?

I think I've e-mailed them before about it... Either way, just did it again to see if they respond. If you can find the CD that would be great!
I've tried e-mailing the programmer as well, he didn't want anything to do with it since I'm guessing he doesn't want to tech support it.

Yeah, they said that the newer software can't communicate at all w/ the older chipsets. That sucks that you weren't able to find it. Gotta live with what I got for right now.
