what do you think?
Well, I am selling my car next week to buy a 4th gen. Lude. I found 3 that I can afford without taking too big of a hit. The first one is a 92 Si, 107k, 1 owner, and is in great condition aside from a little rust on the wheel wells. The owner doesn't want any less than $7k. The second is a 92 S (base?), with 96k on it, and is in showroom condition (new paint). They are asking $6k, but I've heard that they are slugs without the DOHC engine. The third is a 94 Si for $5500, but it is a "storm" car. I am pretty sure that it was flooded at one time, but it seems alright... I might stay away from this one. Anyway, I can't find any Lude's around my area, and these are the only affordable ones as of right now. What do you guys think?
Honestly, I'd say wait til you can afford a VTEC - of the three I would never buy the storm car; anytime you can see visible rust, the problem is really worse than is obvious, so to me the 92si is out; and would not really consider the S as an option either.

I agree completely, stay away from damaged and rusted cars, also stay away from non vtec preludes....in all stay away from all the cars, unless you want to make the 92Si a turbo, then Id go for that. Just stock its not worth it...
