I found a 1993 prelude si that has the aws option(I think it's an option). My friend told me that I shouldn't buy this car because the aws system is one major problem of the 4th gen preludes, that it's always broken and cost a lot to repair. Is he right?

nope easy fix. Most issues are caused by the aws ecu. The solder joints in there overtime become cracked. So you just have to open it up and re-solder the joints.

 

i have had my 92 4ws and it has only had one problem that was the cracked solder points which is realy easy to fix and even if you scared to fix yours then find a 4ws that is geting parted out and do that one. i even have mine droped 2 inches and still works great.
