Get some nice lowering springs from a reputable brand, like Eibach or H&R. New shocks would help too. After lowering your car, go get an alignment.

Question from the OP on camber kits, and no responses ....
If you're looking for a drop of about 1.5", then a camber kit is not needed. Save the money that you would of spent on a camber kit and spend it on an alignnment after you get droped. Have the shop adjust Toe to factory specs so that you will get even tire wear. Besides, a little camber will help in the performance of your car in cornering.
My advice .. get adjustable height suspension ( "coilovers" ). The reason .. once you go 1.5" lower, you'll ride that way for a while and then you'll want to go even more lower. Get coilover suspension so you wont spend more money on dropping your car lower later. Look into Skunk2 coilovers for a good product and a good price. Research about shocks too, because you'll need something better than OEM if you go below 1.5"

Camber kits are needed with any springs/coilover system that lowers ur car +/- 1.5 or more.Get ingals or something good....no ebay camber kits!Trust me on that one.

And they're much softer than the Eibach Pro kit and H&R Sport. So on one hand, you gain ride quality, but you lose handling
