What exactly needs to be done to safely test compression......like what do I need to disconect,general safety precautions.....that kind of stuff.Thanks for the help,I just dont want to f anything up......like my dist.

 

disconnect the resistor box (small metal box mounted to driver side strut tower) to disable the fuel injectors.

remove all 4 spark plugs, hook up gauge to each cylinder 1 by 1, and test by turning the key to spin the motor over.

 

Thats all?

 

well you need the compression tester.
