vtec problem
Ok i bought a 92-95 jdm h22 swap. I am having a problem with vtec engaging. I have a vfac and it said that my ecu is sending a signal. I checked with a test light at the silenoid it is good there. I put a wire from the batery straight to the silenoid and it is clicking. So i took apart the silenoid and cleaned it out. Still no vtec. I tried a thicker oil. More fuel, and now i am stumped. I was also woundering if anyone knew how small the oil passages to the rockers are. maybe i have some blockage some where. o and i have no cel
I am down to try any ideas thanks

Well for the pressure i would sure hope that at 6000rpm's and 20-50w oil that it would have enough oil pressure.
if you bought an engine swap, ususally the mortors sit around for a while on the oil pan and are transported just sitting on the oil pan, make sure there are NO dents WHATSO EVER in the oil pan on the bottom.
there is awlays a logicaly reason for vtec not working. the problem is either electrical or mechanical. electrical being the most common with swaps. mechanical relys solely on oil presure . if your motor was sitting around hopefuly there is no rust inside the motor..
