Thas a lot of gas to pump I think from 4500 all the way 2 redline, jus do a trial error, and time it within a certain distance

with stock inturnals I'd say somewhere between 4400 and 4800. but a dyno is the best place to find out what's good for your car

If your car is stock, leave it at the stock engagement point. Honda knew what they were doing when they set it where it is. Dyno it test some settings if you want it earlier but if your stock, leave it stock. just my opinion...

Its there for a reason, that and the fact that no normal person wants to be in vtec in 5th gear when there crusing at higher speeds.

its definitely 4900 on 4th gen although it looks like 5200 or somthin on the tach. I'm not as sure about 5th gens but I thought they were the same.

yes there is approx 300rpm difference in the stock tach and actual RPM due to the mechanical guage. as speeds increase so does the inaccuracy of the mechanical guage.

4900 is 4th gens andi really have no experience with 5th gens so i couldnt tell you. although in 4th gens it looks like 5200 because of the inaccuaracy of the manual guage.

Vtec is engaged at 4938 and disengaged at 4750 in a high load situation,
and it is engaged at 6313 and disengaged at 6188 in a low load situation. In a stock P13 ecu..I know this for a fact..From looking at the code..

The best point to set your vtec crossover is were your power curves cross on a duno. If you don't know then leave it stock..
