vtec controllers don't do much, and often cause problems. IMO, spend your money else where.

If you're only buying a vtec controller, it isn't worth it. If you're buying something to tune your air/fuel, I think it's definitely worth it. I gained 6 peak horse and a MUCH better torque curve with a VAFC after just basic bolt ons.

If you don't have any mods, you shouldn't change your vtect engagment point. Honda does a good job from the factory. If you have done mods, then you could use something that adjusts your vtec and air/fuel.

I have everything you need to get optimal results for sale. I have the A'Pexi SAFC Controller along with the Fields VTEC Controller for sale. Both are in great working order and cosmetically in good shape. PM Me if interested. Will trade for Hondata S200.

No performance mod is a waste of money if tuned..............

^^^just lied to you...........

But if you get a vafc2 or something - it won't be a waste of money as long as you get it tuned.

Find a tuner who knows what he/she is doing and get it tuned. I used to have one until I upgraded to the hondata s300 and it makes the vafc2 look like unused sperm.

sure, go ahead...it doesn't matter anyway--you're probably going to do other ebay (read: cheap) mods that'll negate any possible gains from a Vtec controller...

You could also get a chipped ecu and go with chrome or uberdata. If you happen to know anybody that knows about these, that is the way I would go. It has everything that the s300 has, but you, if you know how, can write your own scripts to do anything you want.
