i dont think ur gona get pics, and like i said before. i wasnting saying search and you'll find a write up. i just meant search and there is enough info to do it yourself minus a write up.

With the ebrake, i wouldnt wanna go through the hassle of swapping the whole cable, you can just get some lengths of cable and some cable clamps at the hardware store and it should work fine, the complete swap is also an option if your not comfortable with the cable clamps.

Despite what some say, this whole thing would not be that hard. I did the JDM climate control when there was no real write up, it wasnt that hard and the wiring for that was A LOT harder than this. All you need is common sense, some tools, and a lil smarts.

called my honda dealer today to see about a new console, yea F&#k that, its like 178 just for the console. thats not including the cup holder, arm rest cover, screws, switch plate, etc etc. im gona head to a few junk yards this weekend and keep an eye on ebay and here. if anyone knows a good place let me know.

the ebrake cable isnt that bad thou, like 50 bucks or so. so a complete change over of cables isnt a horrible idea in retrospect, if you wanna put the time in.

This was when i first got my car and i had very limited knowledge about working w/ cars and wiring, and i figured it out for myself when i was 16, so it shouldnt be difficult.

Take out the console, check the positioning of the ebrake. drill holes, bolt the ebrake on, then just extend the mirror and hazard wires, and you're done.</TD></TR></TABLE>

^^^actually i want to see your console.. i'm calling you out ef93si.. POST A PIC of your interior...!!!!

yup....im gona play around with the idea of lengthening the left e-brake cable, but i dont know yet. my prelude is in TX and not here in TN with me. I pick it upon the 29th and drive it back home. the problem with a new cable is they are pretty expensive. does anyone know if it is just 1 cable i have to lengthen or is it both of them?
