Default venom performance module

Does anyone know anything about Venom's performance module? I like the fact that it has a very simplistic hook up (only a few wires), because I would like to preserve the factory warranty. But I'm interested to know if it will provide similar gains as other piggy back style ECUs. Any suggestions for anything similar?

I raced a guy with an accord(He was pissing me off) who had one. He said he could feel the difference, but he was still slow as hell. Personally I'd get a VAFC and a new ECU program.

Please correct me if I am wrong but .. I was under the impression that 5G preludes can't have their ECU reprogrammed. Is that true? I would love to do it. But I can't swap out to OBDI untill I am out of CA

All it does is trick your car into believing your pressing down throttle more than you really are. At WOT there are no HP gains, none.

Well, I just bought the car in October and since then I've installed an AEM cold air and a Thermal Research and development exhaust. Reprogramming the ECU even if possible would be out of the question because, I don't want to void the warranty for a 10 hp gain. Is the VAFC another piggyback style module? Would I be able to install it out without any major permanent modifications should I actually need to have something repaired? Any other sugestions for things that I could do to my car and keep the warranty? Im thinking an nos system run through the intake wouldn't be hard to disguise since i could just reinstall the factory intake.

Yeah a VAFC is a piggy back system.

It allows you to change the VTEC engagement point and your Air/fuel ratios. Also it has a built in tach and some basic digital gauges.

And if you can tune it properly you can gain some hp. Go to the Dyno and see it for youself.
