Vafc Mounting
Im trying to find the best place to mount my vafc II. Security is ofcourse an issue so i dont want it to be overly flashy. The three places that i think would be best to mount it is in the arm rest, in the glove compartment, or below the stereo with that little door that a few people have. I was just wondering what the fitament issues in a 5th gen, if any, would be with any of these places... and where to find that door.
Also, right infront of your shift ****, kinda almost under the stereo looks pretty good. Ive also seen most people but it right ontop of their steering wheel column. also see dash mounted, but thats a little bit to much for me.
haha, ive never seen anyone break into a car to steal a VAFC, thats kinda funny actually.
Glove box sounds like most practical, and right above the ecu so dont need much wiring.

id go glove box. Once you set everything, there is no need to have all these lights in your face.

So you are saying he doesn't have a center console... you know, ash tray, head unit, etc?
I figured it'd give the guy some idea...
