Does anyone know what engine this is? I'm wanting to buy this guys 1995 prelude 5 spd and he said he had a shop install this motor for him but he doesnt know what it is.... it runs perfect though lol. i'm thinking maybe h23 or h22?

 

all I seen is a red x, the engine should be stamped near the timing hole, such as f22, h23, h22

 

Im thinking an h23 or f22 non v tec if its not known a vtec would probably be known (although you can just read the block) -__-

 

Would ya'll buy this car? It has 5k miles on the new engine, it was done professionally by a reputable local shop. Only bad is
It needs a brake Job, and the drivers side fender is crushed from falling off a jack(I could fix myself). The guy wants 2200 for it and I HAVE to have a car next week, other option is a 1995 integra with a new b18 in it for 2700.
