Default TYPE S CAMS

I really dont understand why Type S cams will wear out the H22 head. Can someone explain why? Why can you put in CTR, ITR cams into any B-series Vtec head and not the same deal with the S cams with the H22 head?

Default no way pal.

because of a few reasons...

#1 the valve angle is 15 degrees different on the Type-S head.
#2 the rocker assembly is not the same, as with the valvetrain.

When you put type-s cams in a USDM H22A or a JDM h22A, normal ones...the top of the rocker area will wear into a dish....
..........
..... ........ its like that before but round....after you put the S cams in it goes to this...

.. ...
...... ..... ..........in other words you wear a groove in them....cause they are too steep...rocker assembly is about $800 bucks...

so don't bother putting S cams in your prelude....ever. Get JUN or crower.
