Default trying to make it work

ok i pulled the motor and started the discovery process. i have major metal in oil, and i am not the motor guy, but rod or rods for sure. i have the f23 and really cant afford a shop to install. i am gauging options, i might try and trade for a obd1 on craigslist. will the f23 run with slapstick and will obd1 run with it. gotta get back on the road. got two weeks before we head back to school and this is my only ride. somebody anybody new year charity.

So you engine is finished.
You want to replace it with an obd1?

If your name is correct, and you have a 1997 Prelude, get an H22.

A different ECU won't control the Sissy-Stick. And the original ECU won't properly control the F23.

Seriously, just get another H22. They aren't tough to find.

pretty sure the cheapest option here given that you have an H22 currently is to get an H23 short block. The P5M will run that just fine too.
