transmission m2s4 help
hey I was wondering how hard it is to swap the internals on my ms24, and if there are any write ups someone could lead me to.I checked the faq page but didnt see anything.Basically Im experiencing pop outs in 4th and 5th gears in my current ms24, I have a low milage ms24 with a cracked bell housing. So I opened up the extra diff and inspected everything and the syncros and it looks clean as a whistle, very little to no wear on anything.
So instead of buying another used tranny , I was going to try to swap the internals, and replace all of the seals and the thrust shim cause the pass side halfshaft was seeping. Thanks

As long as you are patient it should not be too bad, most Honda trannys are easy to deal with.
If you look in the FAQs page, there are service manual links now, and the whole process and tools used are in there.
