Default Track Time

Out of all the runs last night the best my car got was 15.73@90. This was in a 1999 base model automatic. So far all I have is a header and intake. What do you guys think, was this pretty good or should it have been better?

I hit 15.6 constantly on a stock manual... I think you should be hitting a lower thann the 15.7... hmm not real sure...

That is a pretty good time considering you are automatic and only have intake and header. I think for the 5th gen. automatic preludes, the 1/4" miles times are in the 16.2+ range.

Well, it also didn't help that there was a lack of traction due to cold weather. I am assuming this played a role in it somewhat.

The 1/8th mile **** track in town(jax, fl) is open ALL year round. The 1/4 mile track is iin G-ville, they closed for Dec for some real racing and that was it, back to test and tune saturdays for awhile then wednesday nights and moves all around. They finally started a sport compact league...I may sign up...its bracket racing for imports....could be an easy way to make some money!

15.7 is pretty good considering its a 5th gen auto. when i use to be part of po.com all of decided that 1/4 t imes for an ss 5th gen would do 16 flat stock. and 5spd 15 flat. and yes i know the manuels do 14.8 stock... its the 'average' times. one second difference between the 5spd and ss

no... 15 flat in my old accord, it was a 94 ex 4dr with jdm h22a/auto (non ss) with i/h/e/vafc

i ran 15.6 in my prelude s 5spd, i was suprised by that... i was figgerin on 16's and i couldnt get traction for **** cause the track was so cold
