IIRC it's attached to the firewall by a bracket behind the intake manifold. It's connected to the intake manifold by a series of vacuum lines.

Yes, should be on the firewall right behind the throttle body. If not, it will be bolted onto the top of the throttle body.

Default new throttle body and tps smoking.

Yea i thought that was it but i was not sure. also i got a 70mm throttle body and a new tps with it to. in the direction for the tps it says to use a volt meter and connect the black wire to chassis ground and the red wire to the center wire on the tps sensor plug. and when the engine is off check voltage on the center wire of the tps connector. adjust the rotation of the tps sensor till .45 volts is achieved then tighten the bolts that secure the tps to the throttle body. i didnt really think it was a big deal to do this so i put it all on and started the car up and the car almost died and smoke was coming out of the area of the throttle body/mani. could the smoking be a reason for me not using a volt meter on the new tps?

Yeah, the TPS tells the ECU the position of the throttle plate. WOT on a Prelude should be around 5V according to the Hemls manual (can't remember exact amount). If I remember right, I believe mine measured 4.6

You can buy a multimeter most anywhere, Home Depot, Wal-mart, auto parts store, etc... I would not advise you get a cheapo one ($5-15), get a decent one with digital readout and you will be much happier.

Why are using a bog throttle body, sounds like you just need to keep the stock throttle body on there and leave it alone.
