Default Test Pipe

I want to know what piping is stock on the 98 preludes. I believe its 2.25. i want to buy a test pipe and put 3 inch piping off of the kteller site. What exactly do the resonators do and where do they go? ive searched, nothing.

damon

is there a noticible gain with the test pipes?

IMO it will make a noticible difference. my friend has a tiptronic 01 prelude and after we put it on, there was a harder pull. it frees up a lot of air.

fyi, the car had i/h/e

unless your boosted that 3in piping is just going to hurt you performance wise. i noticed ur from cali to and i now they have strict emissions laws over there, just dont get caught with one

3 inch piping? Use 2.5" at the most unless you plan on boosting.

stock piping - i'm not certain, but i highly doubt it is 2.25" STOCK

resonators - makes your exhuast quiet; can be placed anywhere along the exhaust, just got to cut and weld

test pipes - replaces the cat. frees(is that a word? ) up some air
