Probably... I wanted to try when I got my Flex's but the shop I got them from wouldn't freaking let me buy an EDFC! Bastards. But I'm going to try when I figure out which model to buy (since there's 3 models of EDFC). I know the rears are fine, but I think the fronts need the hood frame knotched out a little bit (bfd).

EDFC is a "rice" part as none of you will need to make stiffness changes on the fly.

It's not rice, as it's a functional thing, and has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with show.... you can't see it while you're driving. It's baller if anything, if you have the money, why not buy it, it's purely convenience in my case, so I don't have to pop the hood and trunk and get under the lining to change the stiffness, which I change all the time. So whatever dude, rice nothin'

I agree. Not really for show. It is great if you are too lazy to open your trunk and hood and turn the little screws. Wish I had it.

LOL ^^^ on you both. I can't believe that you won't stop turn the damper and get going within 2 minutes. Neither one of you need the adjustment on the fly (not that you'd know what you're doing other than it feels softer) capability. Just because it's not flashy doesn't mean it's not rice, esp when you're only installing it for the need to have it.

Don't be a ********.. "not that you'd know what you're doing other than it feels softer" bullshit. What a ****, coming here saying it's ricey, then insulting my intelligence. How about you lay off the ******* pills and realize that it's a luxury item to have such as power windows, or power anything for that matter. It's the same thing...

Geez...

^^^LOL again, if you're comparing the EDFC against power windows then you really have no idea what it's intended use is. If you're using it as a "luxury" item then all I'm going to do is laugh as there's no reason in hell that you need rebound changes on the fly for daily driving.

edit: This didn't deserve another up post...

So you're saying that you want to adjust your dampers on the fly for different parts of the track? Wow, you'll have more going on than many multimillion dollar race teams. Again, it's just for show aka "rice" for a race part but not using it for it's functionality. Stunnaaa!

LOL, talk to me again when you have actually looked at those systems. Those were designed completely different than the EDFC. Those affected compression and rebound settings (at least the ones in the Nissans 300ZX and Maxima) and actually affected the general performance of the vehicle. Again, go ahead and buy it, but it's either out of pure laziness or just gotta have it. You can go claim to have as many race parts and you'd like on the car. But yet again you're comparing to using it on the street. 95% if not even higher of those drivers WITH the system never use it on the street other than to show off. I've had it on a Maxima, 300ZX, and never touched it after initial setting. If you need adjustability on the street... well...

I know what it's intended use is, when you're on a course/track that requires or is more suitable for different dampening of your suspension ie different terrains. Granted when I go auto-x I won't need the 'on the fly' control, but it's convenient. What the hell do you care that someone spends $300 on it for convenience... it's thier money not yours, and it's still being used.

Why did Supras come with them stock? Why does the new volvo s60r come with it stock? it is a convenient luxury to have because road conditions change from day to day, and so do the moods of the driver. I just think it is nice to so that if one feels like having a softer or harder ride while driving, one can. Plus, I don't have a garage, and it sucks to go and adjust your dampers in the dead of winter.

Gee. Why, I guess being as spartan in philosophy as you are, you probably have no plumbing where you live because it is not necessary and you laugh at all those people who are too lazy in the winter to go out and **** in an out-house.

It's a gadget for lazy *** ballers. If you want it, can afford it, get it. **** what anyone say.

With enough time and patience, you can customize to make it fit.
