Tein coilover systems
Whassup you'll I'm thinking about getting tein basics. The problem is I can't see saving up over 700 in cash to buy them. You'll know if they sell them seperatly. Like I buy the front today, then buy the rear a month later.

Yo I'm serious and that ***** not funny. Can I get some real answers. I just don't have it like that cause my $ don't grow on trees but I won't let that stop me from doing what I love so I will try different methods on getting what I want the Honest way.

you don't want to spend $700 on Tein suspension? the only way you won't, is if they're used.

I'm not trying to joke or anything, but some things I think you should buy all at one time. Suspension being one of them. If you don't have the money, just save it until you do.
Who knows? By time you get the money the price might have dropped.

It's not that I don't want to spend 700. It's that I can't save that much in the situations I'm in right now, but I could get it in parts. Thats why I asked the question I did. I'll call in the morning and if they say no we don't do that I guess I'll just have to go with coil over sleeves like Ground Controls.

my advice would be to save up your money until you can buy the whole system.

Re: (Jorsher)
The last time I saved $700 was probably before K20s existed, so I can squash the Idea of saving that much. I got too many bills. Thanks guys

pay off your bills, then get into the car hobby. modifying a car isn't cheap. don't waste your money on your car just yet. you'll be in more debt than you already are. think about what's more important in your life right now.

Ok listen to yourself. You can't buy it at once but you can in parts? That doesn't make sense, EVENTUALLY you will have to save the $700 for the whole set (maybe more if you buy in parts).
Don't buy crap, and don't buy in parts. Save until you have enough for what you want THEN buy it.
Also, just some advice, don't get credit. I think it will get you in trouble.
And no I'm trying to offer you some good advice, not be an ***.

Re: (jL iLLuZiOnz 9)
You know what your definatly right man. The problem is that I started a project. I already have a Bseries-B20 swap in my EG, and the acceleration this motor has ain't compatible with stock suspension. Also my stock suspension is shot, so I need new shocks anyway. Regardless I still have to replce my shocks and springs, although the advice you just stated is some of the best advice I heard in a while. I'm just hard headed and probably won't listen though cause my car hobby is worst than Nicotine. Thanks though.

lol I know what you mean, I have severe problems with patience. As an example, I bought the DOHC VTEC stickers from majestic honda even though I won't be done with the swap for well over a year and can't put them on til then because I have a SOHC engine and would feel riceristic.
Now that you mention your bad suspension, that makes the problem a little different. Possibly you know someone with a wrecked honda or can go to a junkyard and get some cheap ones to hold you over until you can afford the Tein ones?
Also, I know how it is to be tight on money, was gonna do disc brake conversion this month but insurance company sent a letter and my premium went up 200 a month, it's now 480 a month, which will make me broke. I can forget anything for my baby Civic for a good 4 months....

i call mine, "my bitch," because its the only thing giving me problems.
just save up dude. if you can save up enough to do a B20 project, you'll make enough for suspension.

Untrue, my civic was mint. Actually still is. Interior perfect, exterior perfect, mechanically perfect up until a day ago when CEL came on.
Del Sol on the other hand, well I found a ton of crap work done to it from a previous owners wreck after I bought it ... really sucked.

No, it WAS mint until the CEL the other day. Which the car runs fine, I have been too busy with sleep and work to check it, will check tomorrow. As I said though, car runs fine so might just be something simple.
