Someone told me I can hit them out just like wheel studs, has anyone tried replacing or re-threading cat studs?

 

I know when I had a shop replace my b pipe they took the studs out of the cat since the threads were trash. So it is possible.

There is nothing to hit out. They are Nuts and bolts, if you cant get them out with a ratchet, cut them off if you have a new cats with studs.

 

Mine were studs, almost excatly like wheel studs. I knocked them all out in under 45 mins and installed new M10-1.50 bolts with new flanged nuts, looks beautiful now, and sounds cleaner.
