Default stuck throttle.. bad motor mounts??

okay, a couple weeks ago i knocked out my front motor mount in a 1 to 2 shift.. it rocked the motor pretty hard and kinked my throttle cable.. i got a new one from this shop, and now i think its happened again. my intake manifold keeps mashing my throttle cable into my master cylinder (i think thats what it is, the big circular dish on the driver side firewall).. of which, now, that is also dented (how bad is that, can i keep using it?) .. but. this has happened twice, and i bet it will again.. is this due to a bad rear mount?

If not, what can I do to keep this from happening every week

Your brake booster?

Sounds like you need to check/replce your mounts.

well if your motor is rocking that hard, then you most likley have a bad mount.

Energy polyurethane motor mount inserts should make that an easy fix
They're cheap too.

Yes, Energy claims they will work fine even with busted OEM mounts.

You can buy it from Summit, Ebay, etc.
