Strange Problem
Ok Lets make this short and sweet, got a 98 base 5 speed with a h22a swap with bolt ons, using the odb2 sensors and wiring, with a odb I conversion harness on a chipped p13. The car started missing randomly and hesitating last week, and finally threw a cel and started running in limp mode so i checked it, came up as a map sensor, checked the sensor to find screwed up wiring at the sensor(wires broke and pulled out). Fixed that, and then tryed to start the car, car sputters but no start will occasionally idle for a few seconds roughly. Checked the cel again, crank pos. sensor code, ohmed the sensor came up dead and replaced it last night, reset the ecu tryed to start still the same deal spitting sputtering no start ocasionally will ide for a few minutes. checked the ecu for a code and get a solid lite now- Now after bein pissed i ripped the carpet up and checked my conversion harness and such and find it to be damp, not wet but definatly a little damp with the carpet soaked just below it, It doesnt appear to be or have gotten wet but im still without a car and it still wont start. Please help me, riding my gixer 750 to work in 30-40 degree weather isnt exactly ideal-
Ive checked all the obvious any other suggestions?

Maybe the ECU got wet inside...have you opened the case and looked in there? Also the wiring harness could have gotten water inside where the pins are.
