If i straight pipe my 1994 jdm lude engine will lose power? if sois it because of lack of back pressure?

 

It should make you more power, but it will STINK and kill the ozone....do what you want...its only a few horse

 

it will affect your rear-end tourqe, but preludes have a significant amount of tourque in the first place. I've heard it helps with highway driving, but not city driving. anyone want to confirm or flame that? I personally suggest getting a high flow cat so u still have some back pressure while having less resisting exaust.

has anyone tested "performance cats" I have searched in the past, but never anything solid. Carsound, Catco, Im forgetting others. Any one better than the other?

 

got to go with someone CARB or EPA ok: some "performance cats" are still illegal
