Default Stalling issues

well this isn't my car but its my friends. he has a 97 or 98 can't recall prelude, and when he is about to stop for a light or a stop sign, the rpms go down and the car dies. i haven't seen the car yet but do you guys have any suggestion or things to look for when i look at the car? i'm thinking its a vaccum line or something. thanks in advance.

also when the car is about to stall the car does not shake or anything.

I am having the same problem. Right now I am cleaning the Intake so I will let you know if it helps. The 1997-98 models all seem to have that problem and I have been told that it is related to the EGR ports getting to much Carb build up. I tried to just pop them out and clean them but I screwed up and the ports fell into the Intake Manifold.
