odometer stop working??

Default odometer stop working??

on my way home my odometer stop working..the rpm and speedometer still works..any clue why?

Are you sure the speedometer is working?

If by chance the speedometer is not working, its the speed sensor on the tranny.

my altima did that on and off all the time the last few months I owned it

as long as it started working again, I was cool with it

Try pressing the reset button located next to the odometer. Since your speedometer and rpm works it shouldn't be the Speed sensor.

mine got stuck once but when i hit the reset button it started to work again

I'm not surre how the teg's work, but is your cel on? this happened to my pathfinder, speedo and tach continued to work, but i had to spend $500 for the odom. to work. (i need to keep track of my miles for work, th epathy is the work car). Good luck!

Careful. If DMV catches wind you will get a "TMU" (true miles unknown) branded title, and it will affect your cars value. It can also show up on CarFax as a "potential odometer rollback" if you have it smogged or serviced twice w/out the mileage increasing. So watch out for that. But otherwise...FREE MILES!!!

NO my cel is not on..and i have reset my odometer..still nto working..is there a motor that run the odometer?
