I got a JDM H22A 5spd (4th gen) to go in my SS-> 5SPD conversion with all the correct 5th gen swap pedals and stuff.

I noticed the speed sensor Has 2 rubber lines coming from it... What are these? Does the automatic have those 2 lines on it as well?

Thanks a bunch,
Anthony

Re: Speed Sensor Question (vtecluder97)
the two lines are for the speed sensitive power steering in the 4th gens. in the 5th gens its rpm sensitive(i think) so you dont have them on the 5th gen vss. im not sure which one you should use but i think the 4th gen.

hth,

Re: Speed Sensor Question (vtecluder97)
Those two lines going into the speed sensor are the oil line.

Re: Speed Sensor Question (vtecluder97)
Yes you can but it has a small PS fluid pump in it. So take it apart and remove the pump pack with molly grease for alternate lubrication and cap the lines. Worked for me when I removed the PS from my 4th gen.
