Default Some odd electrical problems with ATTS

Hey, I'm having some odd electrical problems with my ATTS. My first problem is that codes won't erase, the light is on as soon as the ignition is turned on. My second problem is that I get different sets of codes with different control units.

I know most of you probably have little or no experience with ATTS, but in general what usually causes these sorts of symptoms?

I don't know.....what are the codes for? Do you have a Helms manual for a 5th gen (I just have a 4th)?

I've got the helms, but it isn't much help because I don't know which codes to troubleshoot since they're different depending on which control unit I use.

Codes are for:
-pgmfi-communication line
-fail-safe relay
-map sensor

If those are the only 3 it gives you, then why not just check all of them?

Because it's a damn pain troubleshooting electrical crap like this. Esp when a lot of the procedures end in check open between control unit and atts unit, etc. These harnesses connect from the pass side footwell to driverside fusebox area, and also across the firewall to the atts unit. LOL

Meh, I've thought about just swapping in a jdm h22 w/ m2b4, but I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the Prelude or not. I've had my eye on those 95 SiR-G Type R VTEC RS V-spec 's for a while now.

Fwiw, ATTS works very very well when it's working and seems like it's pretty reliable for most people for the most part.

WOOOOOOOT!!!!!! After a year of just saying blah bc I couldn't get the relay I need to out bc of inaccessibility, I solved my problem !!!

The first two relays are completely missing in USDM ludes, even the holder. I was trying to get the wrong relays out! Btw, the ABS and ATTS relays in the diagram are labeled backwards. Now hopefully, stealer won't charge an insane amount for this small relay.

If you're trying to get one of these relays out and the white cover on top seems like it gets in the way, it does. Just push on it upwards and it just snaps off. I don't know why Honda even put it there.

If you've got an atts control unit that you know works I might be interested.

Pulled code 79, I figured out it's a atts inhibitor or something. Also got code 62 which I assume is my srs light that is on. Any idea how to fix code 79? thanks

Was it the atts light that blinked code 62? Code 79 should be associated with some other atts dtc.

It flashed 79 with the atts light and then 62 right after.

79 isn't anything. 62 is left oil pressure sensor. First check your atts oil level.

Btw, create a new thread.
