ATTS Control Unit - Unknown failure
So, yesterday morning I was driving my 97 Prelude SH and took off in first gear going right round a corner - the engine _almost_ died and the ATTS light came on and stayed on.
I checked the workshop manual, and followed the parts about No DTC code - ie - there is no diagnostic troubleshooting code - the ATTS liight just stays on - cheked the fuses - they're fine. Basically followed the procedure (ATTS Indicator light does not go off) on page 15-19 of the 5th gen workshop manual.
Checked IG1 circuit, fine.
Checked LG circuit, fine.
Checked the warn circuit, fine.
Checked the VCC circuit, fine also.
Got upto the point where it says "substitute a known-good ATTS control unit and recheck"
So - two questions
1. Could I have fried my ATTS control unit? If yes, how can I reset or test if its actually fubared?
2. Where would I get a replacement ATTS control unit?
Im in Canberra, Australia,
Any help appreciated!
Thanks.
