We are not looking for any 'new' moderators. We currently have all we need. I went ahead and added an official picture thread for both 4th and 5th gens.

If you see a reply or a flame war going on, REPORT THE POST. I have yet to have ONE SINGLE REPORT in the picture thread but yet you guys make a complete thread in order to reach a solution? This is a TECH related thread. The picture thread is something that is a bonus for the forum. If you guys don't point out problems to the moderators don't expect us to know about it.

I will periodically view the thread and misc bullshit will be deleted and users will lose % points. I am also going to view the posts in the thread and members who post ***** will lose a few hundred posts on their post count.

That is all.

wouldn't it make sense to take away points instead of posts??? besides i dont agree with taking away posts from some of the members like 95 greenlude, he may have a lot of posts but most were pics and updates done to his car

Haha, if our picture thread goes into the A/C thread it'll be burried within seconds never to be found again.

As fa as your solution goes i suppose its fail. It sux for peopl eloosing post count, but like Blake said, its not that big of a deal esp if what comes outa ur mouth is a misrepresentation of ur post count.

 

I would love to see the picture thread split into 4th and 5th gens, although i undestand they are all preludes, sometimes im just trying to view some 5th gen looks and ill go through 20 pages of 4th gens before i see one.

Guess 5th gens are out numbered here.

Overall, it sounds as fair as it really can be imo.

 

We know have a specific picture thread for 1-4th gens as well as one for 5th gens. Sorry to you 1-3rd gens... there are maybe like 4 of you guys out there, lol.

 

I was so impressed with this idea of splitting the pic thread by generation that I decided to post my car to get it started.

I'm also glad to see there's still some legitimate regulation going on in the prelude forum. It's a breath of fresh air to see some of those "cops without a badge" get some posts deducted.

This is a step in the right direction at last!

 

Sweet! I cant believe the idea went through! Gona have to go take some pics for once and support the 5th gens.

This will be a fresh start and make it easier to moderate to see who fills up the threads with useless comments.

thanks for the fix on the picture thread I like the idea of seperating 4th and 5th gens. only thing is i am sure some noob will eventually post pics in the wrong one (ex. 4th gen in the 5th gen thread). what about making them both sticky's? so they will be right next to each other and confusion will be kept to a minimum...

I asked this before but wasn't there some determined fellow who went through the whole picture thread and sorted them by gen's already? What happened to that thread and that guy.

roller3804 went/was goign to go through every page and delete the comments.

i believe he went through the pages and copy and pasted the working pictures and made a thread...but i think it was closed.

 

woot 95% like the only 1 not on the list that was deducted 5%. Lol some of those peeps on the list got additional points. Howeva ya did a good job man. Also, the idea of makn 2 pic threads for 4th and 5th gens wuz briliant. Kudos

haha and blake is at 101%... he's just messin with ya man, let it go. next time don't try to pick fights with senior members. I learned my lesson when I picked a fight with a moderator... i was banned, then asked if i could come back. luckily i was let back on.
