More info please! What's your setup, what CEL (code 23 I'd assume?) and any other good info......if you've posted all that before, please link to the previous post....

I've got a 98 Prelude MT. The CEL blinks 2 times long and 3 times short (so whatever code that is). I basically have a drag turbo set up with a built bottom end.

Yeah, that's a code 23 (long blinks = 10, short blinks = 1 each)....
Could you have accidentally unplugged or cut the knock sensor wire? My best guess is that somewhere the knock sensor doesn't have a good connection to the ECU....either that or it's defective, but I doubt it's defective......
The other problem is that when the ECU sees this code (after the car warms up and goes into closed loop) It'll pull tons of timing out, which will make your car run like ***.....we're having this same problem on an H22 swapped 90 accord, and we think it's the knock wire connection at the ECU......
Maybe that's some help?

i had a knock code for awhile...i found the plug just came undone...stupid me didn't plug it in all the way last time I messed with the motor...either check that or check the connection at the ECU

I believe it's pin D6 and the knock sensor itself is on the back of the block sort of in the middle.....

Hey if the knock sensor plug was not plugged in wouldn't the CEL come on right away? Everytime I cleared the CEL codes and started driving the CEL would not come on until I hit any boost. Does this still sound like a problem with the plug or wiring?

well i checked the plug just now...it seems to be in place(the plug right above the oil filter). Can't figure out what it could be. Maybe the sensor has gone bad? Any more ideas or thoughts?
Thanks

I've read quite a few times about the knock sensor being tripped by the vibartions and sounds caused by forged parts. The clinking and vibrations they cause can set the knock sensor off (after all all it does is listen for the frequency of a knock) and this could be what's setting off your CEL

A good way to test this system would be to access (backprobe) knock sensor circuit at the ECM with digital voltmeter set on low volts. with ignition ON and engine OFF monitor voltage on this line while someone taps on block right above knock sensor with a 3/8 drive extension. If voltage changes than sensor and circuit are good (find out why you have continous knock), if voltage does NOT change than you may have a bad connection (very likely) , a bad sensor, or it is not torqued properly. The torque can effect its ability to produce voltage at the right frequency.....continous knock Kills parts....3gdude
