skunk2 im and idle? turbo! Help!
yes i know this has been covered somwhere and i tried searching but came up with nothing. I am now worried about my idle. it will rev up to 1k to 2k and then when i give it gas it will idle normal. it only does it at a stop. when i get on it it feels fine. I also heard that the loud sucking sound out of the air filter has something to do with it too. did i hook up the vacuum lines wrong or not getting a good seal or what. and did anyone get past the egr check eng light or no. does anyone know of a way to get past it. when i rebuild the motor and drop a turbo i would like to do hondata or uberdata. when i get a fuel management system and getting either a chipped p28 or p72. when i first installed the manifold i tried dropping a p72 or gsr ecu in to get rid of cel on egr but the car wouldn't start. Isn't there a p72 obd1 and obd2 ecu. Did i just use the obd1 ecu and that's why it didn't start. I'm in a little bit of a dilemma and want to sort these problems out but don't know what to do. I need to get the idle right for tuning and the new motor build and sure would like to get rid of the cel. Please help

You wont be able to get rid of the check engine light unless you leave the EGR hanging there but still plugged into the wiring harness, OR if you switch to OBD1 with hondata, this way you can completly disable the EGR with the hondata program.
This EGR CEL could very well be the reason for your bouncy idle issue.
