Default simple brake question

i think recently my brakes havent been braking as hard as they should. i find myself pushing down more then i should. i have power slot rotors with axis mm pads. i think im gonna get myself some stainless steel brake lines. would that solve the problem or is it something else? maybe cuz its really hot outside that it wont brake aswell?

air in the system maybe? check to make sure your brake fluid is fulled up too. if you havnt had a recent brake job, that might be the problem too.

How much extra play are you getting and how many miles? If you pump the brakes a few times, does the normal pedal height come back?

my brake job was kinda recent. we bleeded the brakes and put on new pads and rotors. it was like 3 months ago or so. im gonna try and press the brakes and see if it comes back to normal height. im not sure if im getting extra play, i just have to press harder on the brakes then i would like to and i think this happened kinda recently. im gonna order some stainless steel brake lines and see how that works out. and ill scrutinize how my brakes are working now.
