Default Should i boost?

I have a ' 97 prelude with 106,xxx miles and i am thinking of boosting. I needed to know if i can run 5-6 pds of boost without frying the motor. Anyone good compression ### so i can compare a +\- average.

Maybe you should put that in your sig.

It seems like you put that with every response you have
along with search and lock

Yes, you can boost 5-6 lbs on a stock motor but I would recommend
using a good stand alone system even with only 5-6 lbs of boost.

As far as compression numbers, I would say anywhere from 210 to 180 psi

Make sure each cylinder is close in comparison though

HAHAHA, you are still mad at me from the last turbo thread, aren't you. lol

Don't think I am against boost. I'm not. I am just not for it on NA designed Honda motors. As a matter of fact, I plan to boost my car in the near future....just not the Prelude.
