i was just looking at the shocks and springs and i noticed that with the rear when i put the spring on the shock the right way the spring is kinda sloppy on the shock but if i turn it upside down it fits perfect? kinda strange i think

I've been meaning to do a writeup about that. Hmmm... wonder if we still have all those pics?

dont need no stinkin' air tool

consider I am 5'10 155lbs and i can still can get my spring and shocks replace in my garage

socket wrench, hex key, breaker/cheater bar, wd40, spring compressor, jack and jackstand and a friend would be perfect for the job.

dont forget to mark the spring and shock with white-out first

Why would yo do that?

I've done 3 cars so far, and even though an impact wrench isn't necessary, it makes life a LOT easier!

Wrong It may make life much 'quicker' but can seriously effect the cars handling. Maybe not that much on just a coilover but the manufacturer spent time to ensure everything was bolted together with 'ideal' torque specs; so why overtighten then with force?

Buy yourself a torque wrench and use the proper torque specs. They're there for a reason.

Strut Fork-to-control arm nutt 48 Ft. lb

Aslo if relevant to your aftermarket equip..

Strut Fork pinch bolt 33 Ft. lb
Strut assembly shaft nut (stock unit) 22 Ft. lb

Hope that helps
