Hi,

I just bought a 94 Prelude Si and I was trying to replace the stock shift ****. However, I'm having trouble removing the stock ****. When I try to twist the **** off the leather under it twists with the **** as well. What is the correct way to remove and replace it?

Congrats on the new car. I just got my new lude' as well actually it the same exact year and model as yours. What color is yours? Mine is midnight blue. Also does your CD changer sound like crap, I mean sound out of the speakers. I have no cule on how to change the ****.

 

the shift boot snaps or clicks into the **** , just pull on the chrome ring and it should come off then you unscrew it
