hey

i am swaping over my 98 SH to JDM h22a can i use the the jdm harness and rewire to the sh sub harness. or will i have to use the SH harness switch over all the parts then use the SH ECU? what about the atts? can i use the JDM ECU on the SH harness?

thanks for the help

Re: SH to JDM
Unless you get a Type-S swap, you'll lose ATTS. Regardless of what engine you use, use the USDM engine harness. Get a obd2 to obd1 ecu conversion harness and use the JDM ecu, unless you get the Type-S.

Re: SH to JDM
ok so i can use the SH USDM engine harness on the JDM ECU, not have the atts connected and thats fine?

so use USDM harness switch over the parts, get the obd2 to obd1 ecu conversion harness, and the JDM ECU will work fine with USDM parts?

Re: SH to JDM
You will need to wire in the injector resistor box since the P13 ecu and JDM obd1 engines use peak and hold injectors.

ATTS = Active Torque Transfer System.

It's what makes the SH have its "superior handling". And like Vin said, you'll lose it if you don't swap in a TypeS engine&ECU.

thats only if i don't swap over the complete USDM SH intake manifold and injectors..... right?

i would like to keep it OBD 2 use the original ECU and wire harness

in this thread

http://www.preludeonline.com/f60/sh-...l-swap-232989/

Artifex said that you must use the ECU of the year of chassis so that means i couldn't use the JDM ECU if i wanted.....(also heard the immobilizer is in the ECU so its alot easier to stay with stock ECU)

Phat8186 said you can use the SH ECU on the JDM engine. PLEASE!!!!! tell me if this is true?!?!!? can anyone verify this?

can i have the SH ECU and wiring harness and have no ATTS i would think at the least i would get check engine light
