SH to Base Prelude?
Ok turns out my SH Block is bad its beyond repairable because pistons scrapped on the cylinders wall to deep. I have a JDM Base H22A sitting in my garage.
I know i need a half shaft to run to the driver side axle....
Can i just remove the ATTS Unit and put my Base H22 and run it like that with that sh tranny without the ATTS?

Or you could sleeve the block... But yes you can take off the atts system off...There were alot of guys who were doing it cause they have a pretty high failure rate and very exspensive to replace. The base motor is going to have alittle less power cause the compression is alittle lower. you might need a new ECU too because of compression diffrence

They're rated the same, SH block just has a different bolt pattern so that the ATTS unit bolts to it rather than a normal half shaft.
You need a base transmission too if i'm not mistaken...
as well as axles
for the JDM h22a - you may/may not need to change the ECU. I know the distributor's are different since they have an internal coil. So the wire harness should be different.
