Default prelude problems :(

a friend of mine seized his motor in his 98 sh, now we can't find a new sh block but we can find lots of non-sh one.. What do we do?? will the tranny bolt up ok?? what do we do about the atts unit?? any suggestions let me know asap.

I don't know about ATTS system but the other motors will bolt up to the tranny. I would say that if you just keep everything the same and just swap out the motor you will be fine. Just keep it the same if you want less chance of some little problem.

well the sh block has special holes in the back for the mounting of the atts unit. with base blocks i guess you wont be able to have atts. but you can fab a bracket on the base block to eliminate your atts and use a regular base lude axle. i read this somehwere before..

You can swap a Base model motor into an SH model. You're just going to need the motor, ECU, axles, motor wire harness...The SH tranny will bolt up to a base model block. You won't have the ATTS anymore.
