I had by H22 block sleeved a while back, oiled it up then left it in my garage but the liners still started to go rusty. So i took the block to have a re-hone in the hope that i wont have to buy new pistons and go up to 88.5mm.

It came back today and there are still discoloured patches in the bores, not alot but its still noticeable. I did try to get pics but my phone camera is not really up to it.

My question is, is it acceptable to put the motor together like this or should i get a new set of pistons and go to 88.5mm?
