Default redlining H22A...

The other day I was drivining while the road was wet. I have a JDM H22A w/a p28 chipped ecu. While driving I hit the gas too much and the rpm jumped up and pinned, where the CEL appeared. Once I let off the gas, the CEL disappeared. Same thing happened again by accident and same thing occured. I asked the guy who did my swap and he said the CEL was the rev limiter kicking. The car drives fine to me after the incident. My question is should there for me to worry about I am concerned about? Thanks.

To get your car tuned you have to take it to a dyno and have someone tune your ECU, timing, etc. They will extract as much horsepower as your setup can provide.

chipped p28 is not good for your motor. a chipped/socketed AND TUNED p28 is, however, good for your motor.

learn about the parts you buy before you buy them.
