On my way home my left rear caliper finally seized up (smoking pretty pad). Now that I'm cornered into doing it (was planning to soon, but I never have a day off), should I rebuild that caliper or just get a reman?
if you are able to rebuild it, would that be cheaper? i prefer to rebuild my parts, at least i know what their condition is and that they have not been abused.

How long do you plan on keeping your car? If you plan on keeping it for a while, stay with OEM equipment. Check out: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and look under their remanufactured section. The rear calipers are a pain to rebuild and although it would be cheaper to rebuild them, it probably isn't worth the time.
If you are NOT going to keep the car for a while, go to Advanced, Auto Zone or Napa and get a remanufactured from them.
I always recommend OEM when it comes to important things such as brakes.
Hope that helps,
Brian.
