Default Rear ended

Well guys this may be one of my last posts up on here and I've been on this site for 7 years, but finally some dumbass ran into the back of me and totaled my lude!
My last question is this what should I do with it part it, keep it as is, or sell the whole thing. It still runs and drives, but its got rear frame damage, but the only visible damage is a ripple look on the rear quarter panal. Every part on the car is literally brand new.

The visible damage shown is all there is as the back bumper and other side of car still looks good!

I thought if someone totaled your car and their insurance totals it and gives you money you would have to buy the car back from them if you wanted to keep it.?

Well the insurance company just told me they will give me $4200 plus the car back because of the upgrades I have in it? So what should I do with the car? Work on it for fun, sell it or part it?

Almost the same thing happened to me a few years back, they gave me the 5000$ for it so i bought the car back for the insurance company for 100$ and fixed it up.

I can't even begin to imagine how the hell that's totalled. I'd say keep it, and start with the ding doctor.

That was one clean looking look too!

Wow! You're good!!! One pic and you can tell if it is totalled or not. LOL

Yeah, it will be expensive to fix. If it was my car, I would just drive it as it is. If you can afford a new car, I would get a new car and part out the parts off of the Prelude

thats a bad piece to mess up. Takes alot of work to fix it.

I was quoted 4000 just by looking at the shell and not knowing if there was damage inside.

You could always look around for another 4th gen with the insurance money and transfer your mods over, then sell off the excess parts. Or you could just part it out and see what else you could buy. Fixing it might be a pain in the *** and quite expensive..

That car is my cars twin!!!!! wow, in any case, a good body guy could fix it, or you could try to align it and drive it for a bit, or part it and sell the shell, all of those things, but dont let a junkyard have it!!!!!

Why would you post a bunch of pictures of the side/front of the car, by the rear end that was actually damaged?

i was quoted 1800 1600 and 1400 @ 3 shops to cut my q panel off (same side as urs) install new honda q panel and straighten frame if needed. slap some paint on (im paying 1200 for my paint on my white 1 and fixing rust spots) so thats 3k and ur fixed in my town. just wanted to share my quotes since they were similar.
