Radio Code
yeah i had to pull my radio out and get the number off of it. sometimes the dealer will give you the code over the phone, sometimes they want you to bring it in so they can find some way to charge you for something. write it down when you do get it...lol. i know from experience. finally i wrote on the bottom of the cup holder with a sharpie....lol
the number should be on the back of the deck...as far as the dealer having it you can try calling them....however, the only way the will have it is if the vehcile was serviced at that specific dealership....i had an acura cd player that my local acura dealer had no code for but the local honda dealer did...
LOL at Chuckles...very clever, I bet he went and tried that

It wont cost you anything, I work at a dealer the only thing is my dealer you have to bring down the title to prove that it is you. Its a safety thing so incase someone steals it they cant get the code unless they have the title.

If the stereo came out of your car... I think the code is under your fuse box cover under the hood.

Search around your car for a sticker that has the code on it. When I disconnected my battery, didn't have the code but I looked around my car and found a sticker on the top side of my trunk compartment which had the serial/code on it. I don't know if it was like that in 4th gens. Mine's a 97.
if you know how to work a screwdriver you can get your radio out
you people are lazy....you will drive all the way to the dealer before you will pick up a screwdriver and figure out which screws to take out
the code was on the bottom/back of my radio when i took it out of my 4th gen

if the code was on the back of your radio, what is the point of having a code???
are you sure it wasn't the serial number or part number?
and yes, you retards are lazy. take a philips out to your car, and pull out the screws around the radio/console area. its not rocket science.
